Nastaran Ghahhari

Nastaran is a clinical postdoctoral fellow in Penn lab. She did her M.Sc in molecular medicine (Cancer) under guidance of Prof. Tim Skerry at the University of Sheffield in UK, where she started working on breast cancer. She then joined lab of Prof. Didier Picard at the University of Geneva in Switzerland as a PhD candidate, working on estrogen receptor signalling and EMT during metastasis in breast cancer.

Nastaran joined the Penn lab in April 2022, where she works on mechanisms of mevalonate restorative feedback loop and use of Statin-drug combinations to target the recurrent breast cancer and metastasis.
