The Penn Lab is very excited that three of our alumni have started their own labs in various parts of the world!

Former Penn Lab Graduate Student, Amanda Wasylishen, has started her own laboratory at the University of Cincinnati, where she is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Cancer Biology at the College of Medicine.

Rosemary Yu, another recent Ph.D. Graduate from the Penn Lab, also recently started her own lab. She is located at Radboud University in Nijmegen, the Netherlands, where she is a part of the Molecular Developmental Biology group. Hot tip: Rosemary is currently hiring, so check out her website for more information on her latest research endeavours!

And last but not least, our former PostDoc, Yong Wei, has started his own laboratory at the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in Hongzhou, China, where he is working on DNA and RNA aptamers. He is also currently hiring PostDoc’s, so send him an email if you are interested!

We wish all former Penn Lab members the best of luck in their new positions and we are looking forward to seeing great publications coming from their new labs soon!
