On August 28th, the Penn and Andrews labs held their annual picnic at Cherry Beach. It was a beautiful day for relaxing, eating and playing some games. Many rounds of frisbee and bocce were had and everyone had a great time.
We had the great pleasure to have Bahati Hategekimana, who is a nursing student from Moi University in Kenya, join us for this year’s lab picnic. She is visiting us for a month to learn about our ongoing research projects and will then move on to do clinical work at the Women’s College Hospital.
A big thank you goes to Linda and David for hosting this wonderful picnic and cooking all of the steak and chicken–it was delicious!
