Grade 12 students Richard Cheng and Arif Aulakh competed in the 2019 Toronto Science Fair at the University of Toronto Scarborough. They presented their research on “Repurposing Cholesterol-Lowering Drugs to Personalize Breast Cancer Treatment”, which they conducted under the mentorship of Joseph Longo and Petr Smirnov. Richard and Arif were awarded a silver medal and an award for exceptional merit. Congratulations, Richard and Arif!
