Penn Lab at Histone Modifications and Chromatin Structure Symposium

Lab Members Showcase Cutting-Edge Research at NCI Symposium🔬🧬🌟

We are excited to share that three members of our lab recently attended the Histone Modifications and Chromatin Structure Symposium, hosted by the National Cancer Institute (NCI) in Bethesda, Maryland, on October 17-18. The symposium provided a valuable opportunity to connect with fellow scientists and expand our understanding of epigenetic regulation and chromatin dynamics. It was a rewarding experience that allowed for both knowledge exchange and collaboration.

Anna Bissola and Emily Branchard, two of our skilled technicians, had the opportunity to present one of the lab’s latest research projects, led by Tristan Kenney. Their presentation highlighted exciting developments in our ongoing work.

Additionally, Alannah MacDonald, a PhD student working under the mentorship of Dr. Linda Penn and Dr. Brian Raught, presented her work on the regulation of the MYC interactome through phosphorylation. Her research aims to identify novel therapeutic targets, contributing to the growing field of cancer research.

We look forward to future collaborations and the continued success of our lab’s research endeavors!
