Penn Lab at The Second Stockholm MYC Conference: Alannah MacDonald Wins 4th Place!

Alannah MacDonald, a PhD student in Dr. Linda Penn’s and Dr. Brian Raught’s labs recently presented at The Second Stockholm MYC Conference held July 10-11, 2024 at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden. The conference focused specifically on the oncoprotein, MYC, where scientists from across the globe attended to share their work. It was a great experience to connect and learn from the top researchers in the field, and Alannah had the opportunity present her PhD work which focuses on interrogating the regulation of the MYC interactome through phosphorylation to identify novel therapeutic targets. She presented her work in both the rapid-fire and poster sessions, and was awarded a 4th place poster award. We look forward to the next MYC meeting!
